Home and family are very important to me and I find great comfort when I'm home. I love to do home repairs and minor remodeling. I love to watch HGTV shows. Grade Level/Discipline:
I teach 6th grade language arts and 8th grade reading. Most of my day is spent with "at-risk" learners. Few Facts about myself:
I live about five miles away from Hershey Park and ten miles from Harrisburg, PA's state capital.
Fact 1: I have three grown children; two sons and a daughter
Fact 2: My oldest son is going to be married this May.
Fact 3: I grew up on a dairy farm in upstate PA and have very fond memories of my childhood with my three sisters.
Fact 4: I have a shoe fettish, am a cat and dog lover, and have a mild fear of birds.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course:
My purpose for taking this class is to gain some additional ways to incorporate technology into my classroom by learning some new things and putting a twist on some previously used things. My favorite game(s):
I am not a big fan of games of any kind, but if I had to choose a noteworthy one, I would chose cribbage.
